IIM AWARDS 2021 - THROUGH ONLINE LAST DATE JUNE 30, 2021
The Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), Tiruchirappalli Chapter, is serving the metallurgical fraternity, in this part of the country for the past three decades. Since its inauguration in 1981, by Dr. V. S. Arunachalam, former Scientific Advisor to the Defence Minister and the Past President of IIM, the chapter has never looked back. The membership is continuously growing over the years and the number as on today is well over seven hundred covering Life Members, Members, Associate Members and Student Members.
The first student chapter of the institute was started during the year 2004 - 2005 by this chapter. Tiruchirappalli chapter has been serving the cause of industries in and around Tiruchirappalli by organising lectures on important topics of interest and conducting courses and workshops on relevant subjects, which have greatly helped the industries towards manufacture of quality components meeting national / international standards on quality and performance. |
