Industrial Tours To make the members of IIM aware of the industrial and technical activities, the chapter has been organising industrial visits to industries and research laboratories. Such visits have been arranged to SAIL, Salem, CECRI, Karaikudi, Seshasayee Papers, Erode, SPIC and Tuticorin Thermal Power Station, BHEL, Ranipet, Coimbatore Super Alloys & Murugan Textile Mills at Coimbatore, Neyveli Lignite Corporation, SISCOL, Mettur, etc. The response to these annual visits has been really encouraging, that they have become regular chapter activity.   Education tours for members and their families.
